Getting Here
Fly into Florence Airport (FLR)
From there, you can either:
- Rent a car (see Car Rental Guidance)
~45 min drive - Train to Pontassieve (see Train Options)
~1 hr 10 min travel time
We recommend Florence airport, however Pisa airport is only a 1h 30m minute drive from Florence and connected by train.
We'd encourage getting in touch with other guests to arrange shared lifts to and from the airport or train station — your private room link will show who's staying with you.
Car Rental Guidance
We'd encourage renting a car and/or pooling with friends if you can. Everything is close together, so guests with a car can be more flexible throughout the weekend and help give others lifts, especially to and from Pontassieve station and the airport.

Florence airport has a large number of rental companies available — we'd encourage booking in advance.
Train Options
Route from airport:
- Take the T2 San Marco train from Florence Airport (Peretola Aeroporto) to Rosselli (central Florence) ~16 mins
- Walk to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station ~<5 mins
- Take the RE 18956 Borgo S. Lorenzo train from Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Pontassieve ~20 mins
- Taxi or lift to your accommodation (see Stay page — Pontassieve has a taxi rank) ~15 mins
Shuttle Information
Friday: No shuttle. Make your own way to check-in, or to Fattoria Lavacchio for Welcome Drinks at 5.30pm.
Saturday: Shuttles for Tenuta Bossi and Fattoria Lavacchio guests to the ceremony and venue, plus a return shuttle after the party — see the Schedule page. (Details TBC)
Sunday: No shuttle for the Brunch & BBQ at Fattoria Lavacchio. Please arrange your own transport.
Monday: No shuttle. Checkout is Monday morning for all guests.
