A rental car is not necessary for guests attending only the wedding weekend.
The venue is well connected to the airport by train to Pontassieve which is a ~15 min taxi from the main accomodation.

However, we'd encourage renting a car and/or pooling with friends if you can.
Everything is close together, so guests with a car can be more flexible throughout the weekend and help give lifts to others, especially to and from Pontassieve station and the airport.
Shuttle transportation will only be provided on Saturday, 29th May 2027 between the main accommodation locations and wedding venues (more below).
For guests extending their stay in Tuscany, a rental car is recommended to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby villages.

Shuttle transportation will only be provided on Saturday, 29th May 2027.
Shuttles will take guests from Fattoria Lavacchio and Tenuta Bossi to the church, and back to Tenuta Bossi for the dinner and celebrations. There will then be a shuttle taking guests back to Fattoria Lavacchio and Tenuta Bossi from midnight.
Exact arrangements will be confirmed closer to the wedding date.

We encourage guests to consider renting a car for the weekend, to ensure there is enough space on the shuttles for all guests.

We recommend arriving on Friday, 28th May 2027 in time for the Welcome Drinks at 5:30PM at Fattoria Lavacchio and departing after the Farewell Brunch on Sunday or Monday.

Please note that check out times for all guests are Monday, 31st May 2027, which is a US and UK bank holiday. For this reason we encourage guests to spend Sunday relaxing and enjoying the long weekend.

Florence (FLR) is the most convenient option (~45 min drive).
Bologna (BLQ) and Pisa (PSA) are good alternatives (~1.5-2 hour drive).

Late May in Tuscany is typically warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures ranging from 22–27°C / 72–81°F. Evenings can be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap.
Rain is possible but uncommon this time of year.

Yes. If you plan to bring children, please let us know in advance of any requirements or additional children that may not have been included in your original RSVP.
